A Clearer Answer. A Better Plan. Faster Progress.

When pain is persistent, complex or keeps returning, more of the same is not enough. You need someone who can see the full picture and work out the right next step sooner.

Our practitioners contribute to research, teach clinicians, supervise students and work in sporting settings. That deeper experience sharpens what happens in your appointment—with the goal of better results, less trial and error and a more direct path back to what matters to you.

What this means for your care

Credentials only matter if they improve your result. Our practitioners use their wider experience to identify the real problem, choose the right priorities and move your care forward without wasting time on a generic plan.

Get to the right problem sooner

A deeper assessment helps connect the painful area with the factors driving it—so treatment is built around the cause, not only the symptom.

Make sense of complex symptoms

When several problems overlap, experience helps your practitioner see patterns, explain them clearly and decide what needs attention first.

Progress with less trial and error

A focused plan gives you clearer priorities, meaningful progress measures and a more direct route back to training, work and everyday life.

Why people travel to Premier

Some problems need more than another standard treatment plan

Premier receives referrals from other clinics and practitioners, and patients travel from across Melbourne to see clinicians with focused experience in their particular problem.

Often, they have already tried treatment. They are still in pain, still unsure what is driving it or still unable to return to the life and activity they want.

Our job is to look deeper, make the problem easier to understand and give you a plan with a clear purpose. The aim is simple: better results in less time, with fewer dead ends along the way.

Start with your problem

Which expertise fits you?

You do not need the longest biography. You need a practitioner whose clinical interests and experience fit your symptoms and goals.

Common questions

Research and education at Premier

Does research experience mean a practitioner is right for every patient?

No. Research experience strengthens clinical reasoning, but the best fit still depends on your symptoms, goals, location and the practitioner’s clinical interests.

Can reception help me choose a practitioner?

Yes. Tell us what is bothering you, how long it has been happening and what you want to get back to. We can guide you towards the relevant service and practitioner.

Do I need a referral?

Most private patients can book directly without a referral. Different requirements may apply to compensable, DVA or care-plan appointments, so call reception if you are unsure.

Will my first appointment include treatment?

Your practitioner will first assess your problem and explain what they find. Where clinically appropriate and with your consent, treatment or active management can begin during the same appointment.
