Admin / Office
Clinic Director
Dr Damian Poustie
(Osteopath)

As the owner and clinic director, I am honoured to lead an amazing team of health care practitioners that exist to serve one purpose – to help our patients create the best physical version of themselves, one free of pain and injury.

Being an avid sportsman in my youth, I was frequently at the Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, and Myotherapy, getting patched up from various injuries. I loved playing sports and was fascinated with the human body and how to maximise my performance on the field. Even as a teenager, I knew that I wanted to work in the health field.

However, even at that age, I knew healthcare needed a shakeup. There was no continuity of care between my practitioners, and there were plenty of useless machines being used, like ultrasound.

After eight years at university, 3 degrees, and five years working in leading clinics in the UK, Premier Sports Medicine was being mapped out. I knew that the best outcomes for patients were found with a team-based and holistic approach that combined the best of osteo, physio, myo, and Pilates. Premier became the first clinic in Melbourne to bring together the best-allied health practitioners all under one roof.

And since that day, I have carefully chosen the very best allied health practitioners from around the world who fit the values and ethos of Premier Sports Medicine, which is to provide the very best health care to our patients using the most up to date cutting edge technology and treatment techniques.

Today, our team has grown to over 30 experts in the field, and with over 40,000 consultations being performed every year, you can be assured that whatever your injury or need, our team has helped someone just like you. I encourage and cover costs for all our practitioners to do further studies in treatment areas they’re passionate about. This means we have the most up to date and cutting edge treatment whilst supporting our staff’s goals and aspirations.

Regardless of their background and experience, every staff member that joins Premier undergoes an extensive induction and training program to ensure our patients can rely on consistent outcomes from our large team. And to ensure that we stay ahead of the game, every practitioner invests over 100 hours every year in developing their skillset. Many of our experts have developed areas of special interest in fields such as sports medicine, women’s health, headache/migraine, and lower limb injuries. I invite you to check out their profiles or contact our customer service team, who can advise you who is the best person to help you.

Our wonderful customer service team supports our practitioners in supporting you on your journey to optimal health and well-being. Even from your first phone call to our clinic, you will be listened to and advised by our expertly trained staff to help you find the practitioner best suited to you and your injury.

Experience counts, but so does ensure our team takes the time to understand you, your injury/health, and your goals, and together with patients, we plan your entire treatment journey so you know exactly what you can expect from the first visit to your full recovery.

We look forward to helping you achieve your health goals.
