MAX, Remedial Massage Therapist
Max is passionate about helping people move more freely, recover from pain and feel better in their body again through hands-on treatment and practical advice.
He has a particular interest in treating muscular tension, postural tightness, gym-related soreness and the aches and pains that build up from training, work, stress and everyday life. Many of Max’s patients come in feeling stiff, tight, restricted or run down, and leave treatment feeling lighter, looser and able to move more comfortably again.
What Max enjoys most about treatment is the problem-solving side of clinical care. He believes every patient presents differently and enjoys working closely with people to understand what may be driving their pain or tension, rather than simply chasing symptoms.
His treatment style combines strong hands-on therapy with movement, recovery and education to help patients better understand their body and what it needs to function well long term. Max aims to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where patients feel listened to, supported and confident in their recovery.
Max is continuing to develop his clinical skills on the pathway toward myotherapy and is passionate about delivering evidence-informed treatment that creates meaningful change for his patients.
Outside the clinic, Max enjoys strength training, cycling, music, writing and building various backyard projects that may or may not survive long term. He believes health is about balance, consistency and enjoying life, not perfection.
