MAKE SENSE OF YOUR RESULT
You can feel well and still have low bone density. Your result is a reason to review how you look after your bones, including your exercise routine and the medical care your doctor recommends.
At Premier, we help turn that advice into an exercise plan you understand. We review your diagnosis and fracture history, assess your strength, movement and balance, and explain what that means for your next step.
START WITH WHAT MATTERS TO YOU
Tell us what you want to keep doing, or get back to. Walking through a new city. Getting up from the ground in the garden. Carrying the shopping yourself.
Those goals help shape your plan. We look at the strength, balance and movement they involve, then use relevant everyday tasks to discuss your starting point and progress. Plans after a fracture follow your medical guidance and recovery stage.
BUILD ON WHAT YOU ALREADY DO
Walking, gym sessions or Pilates may already be part of your week. Bring that routine to your assessment. We look at what it includes, how challenging it is for you and where targeted resistance or balance work needs attention.
You leave understanding what to continue, what to adapt and what to add. Strength and conditioning and Clinical Pilates form part of the plan when clinically required.
YOU DO NOT NEED GYM EXPERIENCE
You do not need to know how much to lift or which exercises to choose before you arrive. We assess your starting point, explain the movements and guide your technique.
Your health, fracture history and current ability guide the starting load and the level of supervision. You will understand what to practise and what to discuss with us before progressing.
THE PREMIER APPROACH
Your plan records the exercises selected for you, how much to do and the guidance for practising them. It connects the assessment findings to clear work between appointments and a review of what comes next.
We review your health and fracture history, assess strength, movement and balance, and discuss what you want to keep doing.
You receive a written starting plan. We explain the exercises, the technique and the level of support you need.
Practise the strength and balance work selected for you. Supervised exercise supports technique and progression when clinically required.
We document your progress and adjust the plan. You know what is changing and what comes next.
PRACTISE WITH DIRECTION
Your clinician explains the exercises, starting resistance, repetitions and frequency in your plan. At review, we check technique, how you are managing the work and changes in strength, balance and the activities you are working towards.
We document the findings and explain whether to progress, adapt or continue. That gives you practical progress to discuss between medical reviews. Your doctor interprets follow-up bone-density scans; we do not promise a particular scan result.
YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
We start with your questions, your diagnosis and what you want to keep doing. We review your current routine and medical advice, then assess your movement, strength and balance.
We explain the findings and agree a starting approach with you. Bring any bone-density report or medical exercise advice you already have.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Osteoporosis reduces bone strength and increases fracture risk. Osteopenia describes lower bone density that does not meet the usual osteoporosis threshold. Your doctor interprets your scan and advises on medical treatment.
Exercise supports bone-health care through individually selected resistance, weight-bearing and balance work. Your program should reflect your health and fracture risk. Clinical Pilates supports selected movement goals; it does not automatically cover every element of a bone-health exercise plan.
